Park 'n' rides

Thirteen temporary park ‘n’ rides were established across the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Townsville also has a public park 'n' ride at Dean Street.

Park ‘n’ rides provided access to GC2018 venues and transport services via Games shuttle buses, and included facilities for spectator comfort and safety, with mobile dog patrols and on-board security teams. They also accommodated motorcycle and accessible parking

  • being dropped to a station or a bus stop by a family member or friend.
Alternative travel arrangements

With temporary parking changes for GC2018, if you usually park ‘n’ ride we ask you to please plan ahead and seek alternative travel arrangements where you can.
