This booklet is being distributed City-wide to give the community a guide to what’s on and how they can get around during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Next month, we get the chance to all be involved in this once in a lifetime event, experience the GC2018 atmosphere, the sporting events, the Festival 2018 entertainment and extend a warm welcome to our athletes and visitors. Support and involvement from the community is essential to make GC2018 an international success, and a legacy for our city in the years to come.

Carpooling sign-up sheet

Personalised transport services

Personalised transport services will play an important role during GC2018, with 11 days of world class sporting competition on our doorstep. To Get Set for this exciting event, dedicated passenger pick-up and drop-off zones are being established across the Gold Coast for:

  • taxis
  • booked hire services (including Uber and Go Catch)
  • limousines
  • coaches.
